Flow of Madness

My other computer has fried so I cannot quickly find the links to the other three parts of the Great Effect. However as soon as I do I will make a post with those links. This is a series dedicated at looking at the relationship Grace had with the rest of the group and how her death has effected them. So far I have written about  Grace-Franky, Grace-Mini, and Grace-Nick. 

Today is dedicated to Alo-Pops and Grace. The fun ones :) 

Friendship: 
Alo and Grace were close and I think they were mutually amused by one another. Both of them have a child-like wonder about them though at different degrees. They are also both free spirits who like to have a laugh and have fun. Not to mention they share a mutual love for a certain sulky metal head named Rich. Ultimately I think that Alo and Grace had tons of fun with one another. I think this shows in the voicemail that Alo left for Grace. He mentioned two things in his voicemail that really stood out to me. The first thing is that he genuinely thought Grace would be amused by Ragg’s learning how to down a pint. I can picture them laughing about this and how only Alo’s dog would know how to down a pint. He really wanted to share that with her. The other thing is that he mentioned he was worried about Rich. They both care for Rich the best and both of them know how kind Rich can be compared to the others. Together they were Rich’s main support system. Together they annoyed Rich. Together they made Rich laugh. Alo adored Gracie and Gracie adored her Alo-Pops. 

Grief: 
Alo is the ultimate escapist. He runs from negative feelings and complications. His flight response always over powering. Another thing is that Alo has been preoccupied by his relationship and problems with Mini then of course the potential threat of going to prison that came up in his episode. Despite his escapist mentality and his horrible advice to Rich when it comes to overcoming his heartbreak—Alo does miss Grace. The best evidence of this would be the scene in Mini’s episode where Alo is looking through Mini’s photo album. He is looking at the photos with a smile on his face looking at Grace being Grace. He makes a comment about how she looks happy and then admits he misses Grace. Even if he does not show it on the exterior he misses Grace, because she was fun and happy. She was his friend. I also think Alo misses Grace, because she loved his mate properly and he misses the happiness that Grace supplied him.
