Flow of Madness

This is the second part of my Visions of Grace series. I already wrote about Rich and you can read that here. This post is dedicated to Franky’s vision of Grace. I will explain what Grace was wearing, saying, and the overall purpose of the Grace that was envisioned by Franky. Also will explain why she would have these visions. 

Franky

Rich had visions of Grace, because he loved her. Franky’s visions are tied into her blame and self-hatred over the events that happened that day in Morocco. They were in pursuit to stop Franky when the crash happened. Her choice to follow Luke anywhere had consequences that Franky never wanted or anticipated. She blames herself fully and is convinced that others blame her as well. In Franky’s episode she feels out of control and dangerous. She starts a friendship with Luke and allows many things to be done to her. Things that the normal Franky would never let happen. All in the name of punishing herself. She pushes away her friends and family, because she does not think she deserves them. She thinks that she will hurt them in the end, because everything she touches turns to shit. She’s a ruiner. In her head she believes it to be true. 

In Franky’s epsiode the vision of Grace is haunting. In many ways she is taunting as well. Not mean, but the dialogue itself suggests things like “wakey, wakey” and calling Franky a “badass.” They were quick statements told in a surreal way. Then there is one scene where Grace just stares. The visions of Grace act as reminders like Grace is the elephant in the room that Franky does not want to address. She’s running from the visions, but her mind can’t let go due to the blame. Eventually she cracks and says “I’m sorry” then addresses the feelings she has before. Whereas before she would scream “GO AWAY” and run from the visions of Grace. 

Clothing/Appearance: 
Grace in Franky’s vision is wearing a yellow dress like the one she wore in Morocco. That is the Grace that Franky wants to go back to and the time that she wants to go back to. So she can take it all back and start all over again.
