Flow of Madness |
I write about pop culture and life in a philosophical way. Main topics include Skins, Harry Potter, Doctor Who, The Big Bang Theory, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and Ed Sheeran. I will also include anything else that tickles me. Feel free to say hi. Always glad to hear from all of you. Thank you for existing. |
While working on another post. I came up with this…
The boy who expressed himself so much he never listened. The girl who listened so much she never expressed herself. The boy who sulked, sat, and denied himself experiences. The girl who laughed, danced, and wanted experiences. The boy who wore black. The girl who wore white and bright colors. The boy who walks heavy footed. The girl who glided lightly on her feet. The boy of the scowl and silent chuckle. The girl of the smile and the full on giggle. The boy who judges people for what they do. The girl who is friends with people no matter what they do.
Together they fell in love. They entered a relationship. It was subtle and sweet. They were so different yet it made sense. Together and as individuals they were old souls who never needed to be found. They were never lost. Two completely individual people falling in love with one another. Honesty, dependability, and devotion are three things they both were. Together through love they danced a dance. Him heavy footed and her gliding on her ballerina feet. Both changing and maturing with their love as time goes as their worlds shift to make room for the other.
The boy began to smile more and laugh a bit harder though he tried his best to hold it back. The girl began to voice her opinions and her desires more to her father, to her friends, and to him. The boy still judges people only he is more open to the possibility that his judgment could be wrong. The girl learns to love unconditionally while still speaking her truth. The boy began to dance and began to believe in beauty in this world. The girl began to be herself in more than one setting. The boy became a man. The girl became a woman. Both never compromising who they are not for one another, because the only demand their relationship ever had was to be who they are. That’s exactly what they were. Rich and Grace.
