Flow of Madness

These are my thoughts on what the future means for Franky. 

In the Series 6 Finale the last moment we see of Franky is her finally getting to see her Mom again. She then smiles hopefully as tears surface in her eyes. The person she has obsessed over and the source of her self-hatred. Why did she give me up? What was wrong with me? What did she see? The person who can answer all those questions is right there in front of her. 

She has also been given a sister who at first seemed to want to keep Franky at a distance. However she went looking for her sister and gave Franky the opportunity she has been longing to have. A chance to have a sibling and the opportunity to have that conversation with her Mom. 

What does the future look like for Franky? 

I do not think the drama is over for Franky. She has new people in her life and there are years of resentment and issues to deal with. It is going to be a long road, but Franky will get through it. I actually think her sister will be more help to Franky than her Mother. Sometimes when you get the chance to hear the answers you crave—you realize it does not heal the wounds you even if it explains it. Franky is going to go through a transformation and with the help of her Dads, her sister, and her friends she can get through this. 

Another thing that I hope happens either in the specials or just a headcanon that I will adopt is a Rich and Franky moment. Rich is one of her first real friends she made in Bristol. He is also extremely close and an important person to her other important friend—Grace. I think that Rich should take Franky to Grace’s grave and tell her that she can stop punishing herself. Because it is not just her past that Franky was running away from it was also Grace. That moment she had with Grace in the finale helped Franky to stop running, but does not address her guilt. Rich is a great source to help Franky reach that peace. I think that Franky feels guilty and due to her guilt she began to avoid Rich. This is the only explanation I can come up with on the character side for the lack of Rich/Franky interaction. (Besides missed writing opportunities not taken by the writers.) 

I also hope that Franky and Liv work things out. Hopefully Liv will be less defensive after being present and at Mini’s side during the birth of her baby. That they can finally reach an understanding with one another. 

It is most likely that Franky is not fully done with the Levan men. If there is a special I suspect that one of them will enter her world again. Possibly as a romantic interest or a rebuilding of a friendship. The Levan brothers though are not going anywhere. 

Even though we were not able to see Franky’s results or receive any University acceptances. I do think that she got into University and I think she will attend University.
