Flow of Madness |
I write about pop culture and life in a philosophical way. Main topics include Skins, Harry Potter, Doctor Who, The Big Bang Theory, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and Ed Sheeran. I will also include anything else that tickles me. Feel free to say hi. Always glad to hear from all of you. Thank you for existing. |
swingandslide asked: And as for the typecasted thing, it is true that it's sometimes hard to know where and when the acting truly begins. I think that actors in Skins are mainly chosen for their similarities to characters because they're all still young and producers must feel like they can't ask them too much. Though I think that everyone is very talented in Skins, which is a real pleasure. So young and so good.
I agree. No one makes me cringe. Some are stronger than others, but none of them are absolutely ridiculous. It is one of the greatest things about Skin. Cultivating young talent.
I agree with you that Skins does hire people that are a bit like the characters. However I don’t think anyone IS their character. Except for maybe Mike Bailey :)
