I write about pop culture and life in a philosophical way. Main topics include Skins, Harry Potter, Doctor Who, The Big Bang Theory, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and Ed Sheeran. I will also include anything else that tickles me. Feel free to say hi. Always glad to hear from all of you. Thank you for existing. |
This is such a hard episode. Because things start to unravel a bit. Jal knows she is pregnant but doesn’t know to tell Chris about it. Chris has a tragic secret of his own which we later find out about…so this episode solidifies the tragic Chris storyline. So the two moments I loved most about in this episode are more of the lighter bits. So here they are.
1.) Ace and Lynton comforting Jal
Ace and Lynton may be horrible rappers and business men, but they are really good brothers. They take care of Jal and protect her. Jal is upset about being pregnant and figuring out what they do. They come to give her comfort and are just absolutely adorable to her. Love them.
2.) Chris trying to convince Jal to move in with him.

I love this scene, because Chris is absolutely adorable. He knows he doesn’t have a lot of time. He wants to be with Jal and he feels like she is going to leave him eventually. Acting desperate he makes jokes about how she is going to have this illicit affair with a trombone player. It is a cute scene despite the little hint of what Chris’s secret is.
“You’ll get in. And then you’ll probably move in with some fucking music student called Terry from East Anglia, who blows a fucking trombone, and then you’ll sit up discussing your blowing techniques, then you’ll blow him. And I fucking love you. Yeah, you’ll move in with him and I could be, like, dying, yeah, and you wouldn’t even know about.” - Chris
