Flow of Madness |
I write about pop culture and life in a philosophical way. Main topics include Skins, Harry Potter, Doctor Who, The Big Bang Theory, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and Ed Sheeran. I will also include anything else that tickles me. Feel free to say hi. Always glad to hear from all of you. Thank you for existing. |
To me Ms. Franky Fitzgerald is a Type 5: The Investigator.
The main reason why I came to this conclusion is because Type 5’s are quite isolated but at the same time they are also quite inventive and creative. Many times people find the Type 5 to be quite eccentric and in many ways Franky is exactly that. At their worse Type 5’s are withdrawn, high strung, isolated, and detached. Type 5’s that are not nurtured can have a hard time relating and being with people retreating to a place of isolation by choice. Most of the issues in Series 6 in part was that the world in which Franky was getting use to was yanked from her. Creating a negative environment in which she went back to where she was most comfortable. Which is to withdraw and flee.
The type 5 journey is often finding a place in this world to be seen as competent and gain acceptance. Often times they are working toward a ‘home’ and a sphere in which they own. Franky is extremely talented in the arts and at school. She is intelligent and just like type 5’s there is a potential that she can be quite innovative and forward thinking.
I was debating about which Enneagram personality type fits Emily the best. However I kept coming back to Type 2: The Helper.
The reason I kept going back to this particular personality type for Emily has to do with the hidden fears and desires of this type more than anything else. Type 2’s fear the feeling of being unwanted, rejected, neglected, and tend to have low self-esteem. They desire above all else to be loved.
Emily after feeling second best to her sister all her life has this feeling that she is invisible or nothing special. She has a hard time letting herself shine and is quietly waiting for love. Particularly love with Naomi to bloom. Emily starts to communicate her independence and develop her own self-worth as her relationship with Naomi progresses.
The thing is that Type 2’s need validation from others in order to feel self-assured. When they feel they are being neglected or as if their fears are true. The can become quietly resentful and may even lash out. Examples of this would be her behavior towards Naomi in Series 4 and also her actions with her mother.
They can also have enormous expectations about life and love. When those expectations aren’t met the reaction tends to be more intense than most others due to the mixed idealism of this type. Which to me is quite Emily.
This type is also quite kind and generous yet at the same time quite selfish. Meaning they do kind things in order to get validation, acknowledgment, and to feel needed by others. However when their emotional needs are not met their dark sides come in at full force. This is Emily she is a kind and quite generous person at times; however, when her needs are not being met or she has reached her limit she can be quite self-centered and throw a monumental tantrum or sulking episode.
I think out of all the Enneagram personality types that JJ Jones fits Type 9 The Peacemaker the most.

I believe that out of all the types of the Enneagram Personality Types that Michelle Richardson best fits Type 3 the Achiever.
I do not think Michelle fits perfectly under this category; however, it is definitely the best one for her. Like Katie another Type 3 personality Michelle has a sense of drive about her striving for the perfect life and the perfect guy. Katie may have gone boyfriend to boyfriend while Michelle tried to make the one boyfriend she did have into perfection in her mind.
The desire for a Type 3 is to be appreciated and treated with value. Their biggest fear is to be seen as worthless or undesirable. Series 1 and Series 2 we see that Michelle is fighting a battle with herself and with her relationship with Tony. On one hand she is striving for perfection on the other hand she is striving to be treated with worth. She fights with Tony about him treating her as an equal oppose to a puppet to play. In Series 2 Tony loses some of himself due to an accident and Michelle reacts badly to it. Due to this fear of not being desired. Especially when Tony did not react to her advances.
Michelle is that girl who wants to be loved and adored. She wants to study and get an A on her Spanish exam. She wants that perfect guy. At the same time she is straightforward and will get in anyone’s face who questions her self-worth. Just ask Abigail.
These are the reasons that I see Michelle as at Type 3.
Alo Creevey out of all the personality types is I believe closer to Type 7: The Enthusiast. More under the cut.
