Flow of Madness |
I write about pop culture and life in a philosophical way. Main topics include Skins, Harry Potter, Doctor Who, The Big Bang Theory, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and Ed Sheeran. I will also include anything else that tickles me. Feel free to say hi. Always glad to hear from all of you. Thank you for existing. |
This is by far one of the saddest episodes. This episode makes me cry so much. But other than the obvious reason why this episode is sad…it also shows you how damaged Cassie is. How lost. How totally on the wrong track she is. And how Sid is completely oblivious to it. It points out so much about dealing with the bad things in your life and then dealing with a huge loss. With that there are two scenes I wish to flesh out for you.
1) Cassie and Sid’s conversation before she leaves for exams

I love this scene in a tragic kind of away. A it is a cute scene that shows how much Cassie cares about Sid. But it also highlights that love is not enough sometimes. They have some major stuff to work through. Sid doesn’t have a clue how to fix things. Cassie doesn’t seem to believe that things can be fixed. She feels trapped by her feelings and her pessimism. It is a quick scene that says so much even though it is never verbally expressed.
2) Cassie and Chris’s conversation

(I know this picture is from a later conversation - but it works!) This scene is hilariously sweet. I really love their friendship. It is very touching plus it introduced the term grapist.
Chris: Hey! What happened to my grapes.
Cassie: Anwar ate them.
Chris: Yeah, well, he’s a bloody grapist.
